Tracy Costigan

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

Tracy is currently senior director in the office of the executive vice president at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). In this role she is responsible for developing and facilitating practices that better integrate strategy, learning, evaluation, and measurement. Tracy gets the most joy out of facilitating groups through strategic conversations that lead to better coordination and alignment in order to strengthen impact. She’s been at RWJF since 2014 and has had a variety of roles, including previously serving as learning director and senior program officer in research, evaluation, and learning.

Tracy has been engaged with the Emergent Learning community since becoming learning director in 2017. She achieved her Advance Practitioner certificate as part of the 2018 EL cohort. Developing RWJF’s strategic learning approach, grounded in EL, has accelerated the organization’s practice, helping teams to hold a strong line of sight, keep the work at the center, and return learning to the system. Tracy is thrilled to join the EL faculty and serve as a coach.
